EMMANUEL’S FINANCES
As for everyone else, the cost of running Emmanuel church has risen considerably in recent years. Currently it costs £41.25 a day to cover the basic running costs of the church. This does not include maintenance or other expenses and our Expenditure has exceeded our Income for a while now. To help alleviate the shortfall, donations towards the running of the church will be very gratefully received, either by direct payment to the Bank account:

PRAYER REQUESTS
THOSE WHO ARE UNWELL
Please remember in your prayers those members of our church family who are in need of our love and support at this time, whether we know them to be unwell or struggling in different ways. Please also remember those who continue to weigh heavy on your hearts. Pray for all members of our church family and anyone we know who are isolating or struggling with ill health and in need of prayer at this time.
Shirley Jeffrey has asked:
Could we pray for her Granddaughter Lauren (Chris’ daughter). She wasn’t well when they came over last year for Bex wedding. Tests after they returned home showed that she has Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is halfway through a 6-month course of chemotherapy and seems to be tolerating it reasonably well. So far it is showing signs of shrinking the tumours. She and Kory are due to marry in March and it looks as if this will be able to go ahead. We are booked to go to America. They are being prayed for in several churches here as well as in the States. We and they would welcome prayer from Emmanuel as several will remember us and possibly Chris. Thanks Shirley and Don xx
Please pray for Jeanette Claughton, a member of guiding’s Trefoil Guild awaiting a cochlea implant.
Please continue to pray for Alan and Liz Campbell. Alan has had another fall and broken his kneecap, and is in Broomfield Hospital, quite confused. Please pray for peace and healing, and for Liz to get to speak to the right people when she visits.
Please also pray for: Pamela Hammond; Brenda Lunn; Lynn Baines (Church View); Peggy and Derek Randall (Donna’s parents); Brad Martin; Sue & Jim Shrubb; Paul Harrison; Jean Cuthbert; Alan Woolnough; Sue Stevens; Julie Harper; Esther Davies; Joan Steward; Justin (Juliet’s brother); Sonja Chamberlain; Nicola (Bob & Jill’s daughter); David Kitchener; Vince Fabbri; Claire Iveson; Sheila Whitworth; Fred Towler (Vicki Davies’ dad); David & Maureen Bird; Jan Wood; Rosemarie Biron; George Wetjen; Carol Hayward; Roger Hayward; Simon Harrison; Kim Steele.
Dr Chris Williams asks if we can remember the many elderly and confused patients of his in these challenging times.
THOSE WHO ARE BEREAVED
Please continue to pray for all those we know who have been recently bereaved, especially for Anna, Stu, Thomas and Matthew Laughland and Anna’s mum and sister, on the death of Anna’s dad; Gina Fabbri and Ornella on the death of Ornella’s father; Stephen Greenfield and family following the death of Stephen’s mum; and the families of: Sheila Bailey; Cynthia Costelloe; Heather Bearman; Maureen Budner (Marianne and Mark); Veronica Brooks (St John’s); Ken Smith (Hazel and David); Ernie Sprunt; Julian (Juliet Shipton’s brother).
The Prayer List is constantly updated. If there is someone missing, or if you would like to add someone or someone can now be removed, please contact Sue Oakley email sue.oakley@billericaychurches.org
